             2026-2027   School Financial  Policies

                                                     Tuition

    West County School of Music has 4 semesters (47 weeks) per year.  

    Fall, Winter, Spring semesters have 12 working weeks. 

    Summer semester has 11 working weeks.

    Tuition is assessed according to the length of lessons:

  • Private 30 min. lessons are $444 

  • Private 45 min. lessons are $663

  • Private 60 min. lessons are $882 per semester

  • Private Duo 30 min lessons are $330 per semester

  • Private Duo 45 min lessons are $504 per semester

  • Harmony Road Group Classes $375 per semester

    Tuition is paid by semester or by three installments during the semester. 

    Tuition for the summer semester is calculated based on the total number

    of instructional hours each student is scheduled to receive. 

    Please  Note:

    Students choosing a reduced summer schedule will have tuition calculated proportionally based on the equivalent               weekly lesson rate of the Summer Semester.

    Tuition may be paid by check or cash, or Zelle.

    Please make your choice when registering your student:

     - By semester or year

     - By 3 installments during each semester (monthly)

     Payments are due before or on the 1st of each month.  

     Payments are considered delinquent if not paid by the 5th of the month.

     The late fee of $30 per a student will be assessed if payments are received  after the 5th.

    Tuition is NOT prorated unless a student is registered for a class after it has begun.

   
     

                                     Enrollment / Registration Fees

     Enrollment/Registration Fees of $40 per student or $65 per family (multiple students  or for students with multiple                instruments) 

     Registration Fees are not refundable and are charged once a year.

     Registration Fees are due on or before August 16th.

     The $40 annual registration fee helps us maintain the quality and safety of our program. It covers administrative costs        such as student records, insurance, software, supplies, and staffing needed to keep everything running smoothly. We          charge it once per year so we can keep tuition as affordable as possible. Thank you for understanding.

                                                   Attendance 

     Regular attendance is extremely important for your student’s success.

     No refunds will be issued for missed classes.

     Notify your teacher as much in advance as possible if you miss your class.

     If a student is not able to attend a lesson, siblings or parents may take a class instead.

                                         Recitals / Examinations 

     All our recitals are free of charge and are held at the Steinway Gallery.

     There will be a $38.00 fee per student for Progressive Evaluation Exams.
